Murat Ermert 1966'da Karşıyaka'da
doğdu. Lise-üniversite yılları Yavuz Aydar'ın TRT3'de yaptığı Stüdyo FM
programlarını dinleyerek ve radyodan teybe kaset kaydı yaparak geçti.
Rock ve jazz'a tutkuyla bağlıdır ama iyi icra edilmiş her tür müziği
dinlemekten kendini alıkoyamaz. Marmara Üniversitesi İngilizce İşletme
Bölümü'nde okurken başladığı iş yaşamında hem Türkiye'de hem
yurtdışında çok uzun yıllar üst düzey yöneticilik görevlerinde bulundu.
30 yıldan fazla, ağırlıklı olarak bankacılık sektöründe,
iletişim-pazarlama ekseninde çalıştı. Yanısıra, üniversitelerde hocalık
yaptı, sivil toplum kuruluşlarında görev aldı, makaleler yazıp,
çeviriler yaptı.
